Tolga Eker might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Törnqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tolga Eker ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Stål during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joakim Rydberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Njurunda IFK's Helge Löfdahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Oskar Andersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Njurunda IFK's Helge Löfdahl got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ulf Lundgren fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Njurunda IFK's protests and gave Ulf Lundgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Ulf Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elof Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Stål kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Melker Åkesson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Fabian Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Helge Löfdahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Njurunda IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sven-Oskar Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helge Löfdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sven-Oskar Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Tolga Eker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Björkhöjd FC and the Njurunda IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Björkhöjd FC's Tolga Eker got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Helge Löfdahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Njurunda IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Stål was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Oskar Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Löfdahl in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Njurunda IFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Björkhöjd FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
