Lars Malmström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Hägert in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Tunagårds BK's Leo Mickelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hannes Lundblad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Tunagårds BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Forss came free, but Lars Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Tunagårds BK got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Wennerström. A collision led to Tunagårds BK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Patrik Wennerström hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Fredrik Björklund made a precise shot to the right of Lars Malmström. Tunagårds BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Fredrik Björklund sped through Tunagårds BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lars Malmström. 38 minutes into the match, Tunagårds BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Björklund came free, but Lars Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Mickelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannes Lundblad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
