Ivar Tidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Blomberg in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Kurt Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Tidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Borowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ivar Tidén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jimmie Kellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ivar Tidén made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Kvänum's Elliott Biörkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Eriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 19 minutes into the game, Billy Blomberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrtälje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kvänum the free kick. A collision led to Kvänum getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marco van der Laan hit a great ball. Wieslaw Borowskis short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Ivar Tidén to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kvänum's Ivar Tidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Holmberg in the 32nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Jon Mellbad put in a rough tackle. Jon Mellbad kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Elliott Biörkman fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvänum's protests and gave Elliott Biörkman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Norrtälje booed when Kvänum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Biörkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norrtälje's Wieslaw Borowski got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Jordy Buckinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Emil Eriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Jimmie Kellberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Tidén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Chants of Kvänum echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Norrtälje had held the ball for most of the match.
