Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jonas Finnman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jonas Finnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Valter Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erling Sandberg hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Göran Ek notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ammarnäs's Valter Sandberg. Valter Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the match, Jonas Finnman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valter Sandberg, 2-0. Börje Jakobsson scored 2-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Kullander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Börje Jakobsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göran Ek took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valter Sandberg. Valter Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jonas Finnman might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valter Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Finnman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Göran Ek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Ahlquist in the 33rd minute of play forced Rydebäck IF's goalkeeper Roger Kullander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Sundström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Valter Sandberg made a huge save. Rydebäck IF's Göran Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Jakobsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Finnman in the 51st minute of play forced Ammarnäs's goalkeeper Valter Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Göran Ek came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rydebäck IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Ek couldn't finish the play. Rydebäck IF's Roger Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Jakobsson in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Sven-Åke Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rydebäck IF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bengt Jansson hit a great ball. Ammarnäs's Valter Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Ek in the 68th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match, Börje Jakobsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roger Kullander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 84 minutes into the game, Sten Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ammarnäs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rydebäck IF the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Ammarnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Johansson to maneuver through the defense. If Börje Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Anders Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Sandberg having to interfere. Göran Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rydebäck IF booed when Ammarnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Pihlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rydebäck IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ammarnäs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
