If Fredric Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saltsjöbaden's Alex Bäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Blom in the 23rd minute of play. Sven-Olof Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jarl Mogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarl Mogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Hellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saltsjöbaden's zone, Rudolf Alefors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Bäck came out of the goal and Rudolf Alefors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Magnus Blom notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Saltsjöbaden's Alex Bäck. Alex Bäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saltsjöbaden's Alex Bäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Blom in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Gemla BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fredric Lundberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arne Söderberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute of the match Gemla BK got a corner. Saltsjöbaden's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Söderberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Blom in the 58th minute of play forced Saltsjöbaden's goalkeeper Alex Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Alefors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alex Bäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Saltsjöbaden's goalkeeper Alex Bäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Alefors. Alex Bäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dan Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gemla BK's Magnus Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fredric Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Magnus Blom elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gemla BK's Rudolf Alefors got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Blom in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Bäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Bäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Blom in the 95th minute of the match. Rudolf Alefors in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alex Bäck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle sounded Gemla BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Saltsjöbaden.
