The Bygdeå fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Bygdeå's Stellan Wickander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arne Zachrisson in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Jönsson saved Eldsberga FK from getting behind. 9 minutes into the game, Bygdeå's Arne Zachrisson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivar Jönsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Arne Zachrisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ivar Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Stellan Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bygdeå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stellan Wickander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivar Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Wickander in the 19th minute of the match. Stellan Wickander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Sten Asmundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jon Svanberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Bygdeå's goalkeeper Jon Svanberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Asmundsson. 30 minutes into the match, Sten Asmundsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Svanberg. Bygdeå's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Asmundsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Bygdeå's goalkeeper Jon Svanberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Asmundsson. Alex Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Eldsberga FK's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Zachrisson came free, but Ivar Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stellan Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ove Stensson to make the kick off. Ivar Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sten Asmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Eldsberga FK's Ove Stensson in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bygdeå's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Stensson in the 70th minute of play forced Bygdeå's goalkeeper Jon Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Olof Nyman hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Ivar Jönsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th match minute, Bygdeå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Stellan Wickander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Jönsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eldsberga FK's Jan-Olof Nyman got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Bygdeå's Albert Johnsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jan-Olof Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Stellan Wickander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Ivar Jönsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 93 in the game by Stellan Wickander from a close distance when the talented Ivar Jönsson managed to make a qualified save. Eldsberga FK's players were relieved. Stellan Wickander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Jönsson having to interfere. Bygdeå's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
