Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karl Gummeson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Karl Gummeson might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Ingemarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Gummeson ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Anders Ingemarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frölunda BK's Herman Brolin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billy Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hampus Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Frölunda BK's Karl Gummeson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anders Ingemarsson. Anders Ingemarsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Pihlwall in the 20th minute of play forced Frölunda BK's goalkeeper Hampus Ekegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Gummeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Pihlwall struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Hampus Ekegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C SPORTING. In the 38th minute, Ernst Dahlbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Ingemarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Karl Gummeson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Ingemarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Tobias Ivarsson's late challenge caught a Frölunda BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, A.C SPORTING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Karl Gummeson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frölunda BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Gummeson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Ingemarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Jesper Pihlwall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesper Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Ingemarsson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Pihlwall to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes A.C SPORTING got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Ivarsson. In the 55th minute Jesper Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Gummeson in the 58th minute of play. Charles Ekegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl Gummeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herman Brolin might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Ingemarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herman Brolin ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Gummeson in the 68th minute of play forced A.C SPORTING's goalkeeper Anders Ingemarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Pihlwall in the 70th minute of play. Jesper Pihlwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Karl Gummeson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Ingemarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, A.C SPORTING's Tobias Ivarsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Charles Ekegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Karl Gummeson made a precise shot to the right of Anders Ingemarsson. A.C SPORTING's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Jesper Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Anders Ingemarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Frölunda BK's Björn Löfkvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Björn Löfkvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Frölunda BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Björn Löfkvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Frölunda BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
