Uno Termander really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Säve BF's goalkeeper Svante Smitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Kjellberg. In the 11th minute, Noraström's Per-Oskar Alkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Svante Smitt. Svante Smitt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Billy Giliusson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Säve BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noraström the free kick. A collision led to Säve BF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Billy Giliusson hit a great ball. With a little luck, Säve BF's Svante Smitt got control of the ball when Per-Oskar Alkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Lindqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Svante Smitt made a huge save. Patric Forssell kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Richard Lindsten, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jörn Ahlbom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Svante Smitt came out and tried to block the shot, but Jörn Ahlbom slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. Mikael Gustafsson's late challenge caught a Noraström's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Gustafsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Säve BF's Mikael Gustafsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Svante Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Alkvist in the 44th minute of the match. Svante Smitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Ahlbom in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörn Ahlbom made a kick off. Robin Ahlin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Noraström booed when Säve BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Grubb didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Uno Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Oskar Alkvist struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Svante Smitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noraström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Alkvist in the 63rd minute of play forced Säve BF's goalkeeper Svante Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Marcus Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Oskar Alkvist struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Svante Smitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noraström. 79 minutes into the match, Säve BF's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Termander came free, but Svante Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Säve BF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Mikael Gustafsson hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match Patrick Anselius shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svante Smitt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute Per-Oskar Alkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Säve BF's Gösta Tinglöf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Skräddare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Ahlbom in the 87th minute of play forced Säve BF's goalkeeper Svante Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Tinglöf got free with Morgan Skräddare in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Sven-Edvin Kjellberg in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Säve BF's Richard Lindsten. 95 minutes into the match, Säve BF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Alkvist came free, but Svante Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Tinglöf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Noraström fans cheered their team off the field, for while Säve BF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
