Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eric Valler made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Högman in the 4th minute of play forced Utö IF's goalkeeper Albert Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Böcklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Smefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Utö IF's zone, Ivar Högman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Böcklund came out of the goal and Ivar Högman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Utö IF's Roger Kiempe got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Böcklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Kiempe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Jens-Ola Vallman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Utö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Högman came free, but Albert Böcklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Smefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Böcklund came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Östra Karup's Sigvard Smefeldt. But to his dismay, Sigvard Smefeldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Östra Karup's Ivar Högman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Böcklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ivar Högman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Albert Böcklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Vallman having to interfere. Rune Bållström hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Östra Karup's Sven-Oskar Almkvist got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Roger Kiempe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utö IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Kiempe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ola Vallman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Östra Karup were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Högman to make the kick off. Albert Böcklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Högman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Smefeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Albert Böcklund made a huge save. Albert Böcklund came out of the goal and Sigvard Smefeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Valler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jens-Ola Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roger Kiempe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Vallman was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Sigvard Smefeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Albert Böcklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ola Vallman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Valler in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigvard Smefeldt got free with Albert Böcklund in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rune Bållström hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Albert Böcklund acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Albin Mickelsson. Ivar Högman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Böcklund having to interfere. Sigvard Smefeldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Albert Böcklund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roger Kiempe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jens-Ola Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Utö IF got a freekick which was hit by Bo Nordström. Östra Karup's Sigvard Smefeldt came free and shot a quick shot against goal 88 minutes in the game, fortunately Albert Böcklund had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Sigvard Smefeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Kiempe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jens-Ola Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Östra Karup walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
