Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arvid Browald started the match with the kick off. Ove Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Åberg in the 3rd minute. After 9 played minutes KG United got a freekick which was hit by Hans Gunnarsson. In the 15th minute Elof Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Dalberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Arne Wik lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gais fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for KG United. Karl-Erik Gustafsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ove Nordström. 1-0. Elof Hök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vilhelm Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gais. Alexander Lindblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Wallin having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Sjödin was the one to do the kick off. If Tim Dalberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Mager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Gais's Elof Hök dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, KG United's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Hök came free, but Vilhelm Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gais's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
