Ove Svanér sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Käringön's Alf Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Käringön from getting a goal against them. Åke Lägdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alfta's zone, Axel Malmström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Ödmann came out of the goal and Axel Malmström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Kenneth Hultstrand made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Ödmann. Alfta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ove Svanér sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Roland Holmstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Käringön's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfta the free kick. 26 minutes in the game, Ove Svanér fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alf Jonasson having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Alfta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Bodin to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Axel Malmström made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Alfta's Wilhelm Ödmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Malmström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Ödmann having to interfere. Åke Lägdin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilhelm Ödmann. Wilhelm Ödmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Åke Bodin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alf Jonasson. That made the score 1-3 in the 47 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
53 minutes into the match, Alfta's Esbjörn Ljungberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Jonasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Ove Svanér had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alf Jonasson. Käringön's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Svanér was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Roland Holmstedt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Roland Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Alf Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esbjörn Ljungberg in the 62nd minute of the match. If Esbjörn Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Ove Svanér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddie Back's late challenge caught a Alfta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Back helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Käringön's Freddie Back got a free kick in the 67th minute. Alf Jonasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esbjörn Ljungberg went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Esbjörn Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Malmström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Ödmann made a huge save. Samuel Danielsson charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Danielsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Käringön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. Ove Svanér recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Malmström came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilhelm Ödmann could save by the left post. After 89 played minutes Alfta got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Strömberg. After 92 minutes Alfta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Lundberg who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Oscar Lundberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilhelm Ödmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfta's Wilhelm Ödmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Alfta from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Alfta's goalkeeper Wilhelm Ödmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Malmström.
