But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Bruse couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Torbjörn Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Böcklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutger Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Sjöström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Vestberg went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Staffan Bergman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Algot Böcklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Algot Böcklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Lundin in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 played minutes Pungbo 66 got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Bergman. Johannes Sjöström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Vestberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Lundin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjörn Lundin in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algot Böcklund saved FC STEN from getting behind. In the 58th match minute, FC STEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Sjöström having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Rutger Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC STEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rutger Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Blanck during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ove Blanck hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pungbo 66 defense, Rutger Abrahamsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johannes Sjöström. The Pungbo 66 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johannes Sjöström should have stopped the shot. In the 71st match minute, FC STEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. Leo Pettersson charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Pettersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, FC STEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Böcklund having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC STEN's Viktor Vestberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Torbjörn Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pungbo 66's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Lundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algot Böcklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Lundin in the 94th minute of play forced FC STEN's goalkeeper Algot Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rutger Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Sjöström having to interfere. FC STEN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
