With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Åke Skarkman in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Örtendahl saved Kållered IF from getting behind. If Allan Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kållered IF booed when Tallåsen RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Telin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kållered IF's Johan Snell got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Karl-Åke Skarkman came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Tallåsen RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Skarkman couldn't finish the play. Evert Örtendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Kållered IF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Åke Wallgren hit a great ball. David Salkvist hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Karl-Åke Skarkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Evert Örtendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Patrik Clementsson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Kållered IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Clementsson couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Allan Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Örtendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kållered IF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Åke Wallgren hit a great ball. Arvin Felin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evert Örtendahl. Kållered IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 49 minutes into the game, Allan Arvidsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Evert Örtendahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrik Clementsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Arvidsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Evert Örtendahl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Evert Örtendahl guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Patrik Clementsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sven-Åke Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tallåsen RK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Drewitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
