Stig Lennartsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Vennerlund having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Äppelbo's goalkeeper Hampus Vennerlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Sjögren. In the 15th minute, Per-Åke Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hampus Vennerlund made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Boris Sjögren sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vindelgransele getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Torgny Wickander hit a great ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Per-Åke Åberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vindelgransele's Jens-Ola Häll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Äppelbo's Hampus Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Lennartsson in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Thorsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Äppelbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vindelgransele the free kick. Börje Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hampus Vennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vindelgransele's Stig Lennartsson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Per-Åke Åberg made the kick off in the second half. Per-Åke Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Häll having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Jon Rydberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vindelgransele and the Äppelbo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Vindelgransele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Rydberg to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Arenstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Tobias Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Häll having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Per-Åke Åberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vindelgransele's Jens-Ola Häll. Jens-Ola Häll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tobias Arenstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jens-Ola Häll managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Äppelbo's Tobias Arenstedt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 78 minutes of play Äppelbo's Vilhelm Thorsberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Vindelgransele booed when Äppelbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Thorsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Tobias Arenstedt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jens-Ola Häll. The goal made the score 0-2. 88 minutes into the game, Vindelgransele's Boris Sjögren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hampus Vennerlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Boris Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hampus Vennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elias Hjeltman fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vindelgransele's protests and gave Elias Hjeltman a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Vindelgransele got a freekick which was hit by Elias Hjeltman. The Vindelgransele supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Äppelbo's performance. The match ended with a win for Äppelbo.
