Sågmyra's Magne Hammarbäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Lövgren in the 16th minute of play. When Lukas Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sågmyra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. Sven-Edvin Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Hagberg in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Gilbert Hagberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Edvin Arvidsson. Hällefors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Hagberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ivan Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Hammarbäck having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Joakim Lövgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magne Hammarbäck was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The Hällefors supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sågmyra's performance. The match ended with a win for Sågmyra.
