Jonas Asplund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Bengtsson in the 15th minute of the match. Johnny Karlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Ahlroth having to interfere. Torgny Söderman's late challenge caught a Bromstens Soldater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torgny Söderman helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Prebens Pojkar got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Söderman.
