Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Jim Skålberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Holmsund BK booed when Ramlösa Södra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Bohlin in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Rudkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Ekström in the 14th minute of play forced Ramlösa Södra's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Rudkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ramlösa Södra's Peder Nyström got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Ramlösa Södra booed when Holmsund BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Bohlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Sakarias Bäcklin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jim Skålberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Holmsund BK's Jim Skålberg got control of the ball when Isaac Ahlroht tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mark Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jim Skålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Bergström to strike the kick off in the second half. Jim Skålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Bergström in the 51st minute of the match. Karl-Michael Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kjell-Arne Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Skålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Bergström in the 61st minute of play. Isaac Ahlroht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Holmsund BK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Stenquist. Andy Bohlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kjell-Arne Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Ramlösa Södra's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Rudkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Ekström. Karl-Michael Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Askestät charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Askestät the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute of the match Jonny Bengtsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jim Skålberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christian Ekström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kjell-Arne Rudkvist. Ramlösa Södra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isaac Ahlroht took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Skålberg. Jim Skålberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Holmsund BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ramlösa Södra.
