Henrik Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sverker Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olof Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in City Slickers BK's zone, Jonatan Tunander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Blom came out of the goal and Jonatan Tunander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sverker Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Tunander, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Sverker Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Biörkquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Askberg in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastian Koch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Richard Ryberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, City Slickers BK's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Glanselius came free, but Sverker Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ayuub getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jonas Sjögren hit a great ball. Sverker Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Tunander in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, City Slickers BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Tunander came free, but Sverker Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Koch made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Olof Askberg sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ayuub getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Egon Glanselius hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ayuub's goalkeeper Sebastian Koch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Törnblom. In the 41st minute, Olof Askberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Henning Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. City Slickers BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egon Glanselius to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ayuub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. Olof Askberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sverker Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Tunander in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Olof Askberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ayuub's Sebastian Koch. Sebastian Koch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute of the match Jonny Sjöberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Koch skillfully saved the ball. Olof Askberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Koch having to interfere. In the 87th minute, City Slickers BK's Jonny Sjöberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonny Sjöberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of City Slickers BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonny Sjöberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 88th match minute, City Slickers BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Sjögren, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, City Slickers BK's Isak Alkvist got a free kick in the 90th minute. Sverker Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egon Glanselius in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, City Slickers BK's Henning Jansson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Glanselius in the 96th minute of play forced City Slickers BK's goalkeeper Sverker Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. City Slickers BK had played much better football throughout.
