Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernt Tholsson got the match started through his kick off. The Dubliners's Bertil Bruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Björklund in the 3rd minute of play. Huaröd were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after The Dubliners's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Magnus Nyman took the corner. The corner led Huaröd's Magnus Nyman to fire away a dangerous shot which Bertil Bruse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Per-Åke Vallin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Bernt Tholsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olle Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Falck having to interfere. The supporters of The Dubliners booed when Huaröd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Gulliksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Tholsson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 14th minute. The Dubliners's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Bertil Bruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Gulliksson in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Tholsson in the 23rd minute of play forced Huaröd's goalkeeper Pär Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pär Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Tholsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell-Arne Björklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bertil Bruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Juhlin struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bertil Bruse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huaröd. Bertil Bruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bernt Tholsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pär Falck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Tholsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When Huaröd's Kjell-Arne Björklund in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Dubliners's goalie prevented a goal. Pär Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Tholsson in the 44th minute of play. Arvid Gulliksson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Tholsson in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pär Falck saved Huaröd from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell-Arne Björklund was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, The Dubliners's Per-Åke Vallin got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Per-Åke Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernt Tholsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dubliners's Bertil Bruse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save The Dubliners from getting a goal against them. When Jan Juhlin came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Huaröd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Juhlin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Tholsson in the 69th minute of play forced Huaröd's goalkeeper Pär Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Huaröd's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Stenman came free, but Pär Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Isaksson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Philip Spets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Olle Stenman managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Dubliners's supporters rose to their feet, but Olle Stenman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pär Falck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Per-Åke Vallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Charles Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Isaksson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Kjell-Arne Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that The Dubliners were the better team. The Dubliners's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
