Sten Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Österlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthon Österlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sten Västerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Krister Söderqvist fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lönsboda RK's protests and gave Krister Söderqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lönsboda RK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Krister Söderqvist hit a great ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Anthon Österlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upphärad IF's Sten Västerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 minutes, Sture Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Upphärad IF and the Lönsboda RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rickard Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Österlund in the 29th minute of play forced Upphärad IF's goalkeeper Sten Västerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Anthon Österlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upphärad IF's Sten Västerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lönsboda RK's Jakob Deckberg got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Wallin struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sven-Åke Skarkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Upphärad IF. After a defensive mix-up in Upphärad IF's zone, Jakob Deckberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Västerberg came out of the goal and Jakob Deckberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anthon Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Skarkman having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lönsboda RK's zone, Nils Wallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Åke Skarkman came out of the goal and Nils Wallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthon Österlund to strike the kick off in the second half. When Anthon Österlund came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Lönsboda RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Österlund couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Upphärad IF's zone, Anthon Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Västerberg came out of the goal and Anthon Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jakob Deckbergs short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Sten Västerberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sten Västerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Österlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jakob Deckberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Västerberg having to interfere. Sten Västerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Österlund in the 64th minute of the match. When Upphärad IF's Simon Axelsson in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
