Ernst Björnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bollnäs BK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Malte Bagge hit a great ball. If August Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. August Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Arhenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Roy Strömberg made a huge save. The supporters of Kärna booed when Bollnäs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Mellbad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Falk, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Bollnäs BK's Jan-Åke Fransson got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 40th minute, Egon Falk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niclas Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Kärna's Leif Bergstedt got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Falk in the 48th minute of play forced Kärna's goalkeeper Niclas Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when August Salkvist made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Mellbad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niclas Holmgren. Kärna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 53 played minutes Kärna got a freekick which was hit by Leif Bergstedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Falk in the 54th minute of play forced Kärna's goalkeeper Niclas Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leif Bergstedt's late challenge caught a Bollnäs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Bergstedt helped the player get up and apologised. Niclas Holmgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernst Björnberg went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Niklas Kielberg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Niclas Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Falk, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Egon Falk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Bollnäs BK fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Bollnäs BK's Egon Falk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Niclas Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Falk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bollnäs BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
