Markus Gunnarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roy Strömberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Erik Pettersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roy Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Romelanda booed when Bollnäs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Henriksson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Strömberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bollnäs BK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jan-Åke Fransson hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Bollnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Gunnarsson came free, but Roy Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bollnäs BK's Ernst Björnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Bollnäs BK's Jan-Åke Fransson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Erik Pettersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roy Strömberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Ernst Björnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Pettersson having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
