Sven-Edvin Bjursell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Collin having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Dylta Södra got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Ahlrot. Viktor Collin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Göransson in the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Sven Kämpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dylta Södra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Kämpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristoffer Björk made a great header on Ärla IF's corner, it was just that Dylta Södra's Viktor Collin managed to reach the ball for a save. Viktor Collin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Göransson in the 31st minute of play. Sven Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Söderman having to interfere. Ärla IF's Inge Göransson got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Jörn Ahlrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Sven-Edvin Bjursell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ärla IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Bjursell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inge Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Ärla IF's zone, Sven Kämpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Söderman came out of the goal and Sven Kämpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Kämpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jonny Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarl Hylander in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonny Söderman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Inge Göransson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Collin was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Dylta Södra's Viktor Collin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Göransson in the 79th minute of play. If Inge Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Collin having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Ärla IF's Sven-Edvin Bjursell made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Collin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Jarl Hylander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dylta Södra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarl Hylander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
