In the 5th minute Inge Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Tönnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Knut Skager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ärla IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bovallstrand RK the free kick. After 7 played minutes Ärla IF got a freekick which was hit by Knut Skager. Freddie Koch struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jonny Söderman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bovallstrand RK. In the 15th minute, Åke Sefastsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Söderman having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Bovallstrand RK's Viggo Skålberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Söderman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rickard Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Målare during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Ärla IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Målare to maneuver through the defense. Ärla IF's Jonny Söderman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ärla IF from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Ärla IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Viggo Skålberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Viggo Skålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Söderman having to interfere.

The supporters of Ärla IF booed when Bovallstrand RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes Ärla IF got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Eriksson. In the 57th match minute, Ärla IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. When Ernst Forsberg fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bovallstrand RK's protests and gave Ernst Forsberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bovallstrand RK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ernst Forsberg hit a great ball. If Sven-Edvin Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bovallstrand RK's goalkeeper Yngve Tönnberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bovallstrand RK's Yngve Tönnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Göransson in the 67th minute of play. Jonny Söderman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Skålberg in the 74th minute of the match. Jonny Söderman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Koch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viggo Skålberg in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonny Söderman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ärla IF's Hampus Valström got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Freddie Koch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonny Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonny Söderman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viggo Skålberg went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bovallstrand RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ärla IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
