With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Hedkvist in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henric Sundberg saved Nye IFK from getting behind. Osvald Abelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvald Abelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hällnäs BK booed when Nye IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Abelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nye IFK's Jörgen Hermansson got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute Leo Hedkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Nils Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hällnäs BK's Nicklas Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Åkesson in the 18th minute of play. Henric Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Hedkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Leo Hedkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Åke Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nye IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicklas Björnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nye IFK's Osvald Abelsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Osvald Abelsson off the ground. In the 28th minute, Osvald Abelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henric Sundberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Hällnäs BK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nils Ekström hit a great ball. Åke Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nye IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Hedkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Ronny Olofsson made the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Hedkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Henric Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leo Hedkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nye IFK's Ronny Olofsson in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hällnäs BK's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Hällnäs BK's Leif Alfors got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Nils-Emil Rudqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Hedkvist got free with Henric Sundberg in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Hedkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henric Sundberg having to make a save. Hällnäs BK played a much better game than Nye IFK and deserved their victory. The Nye IFK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
