Anderslöv FK's Gustav Eskilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Åkesson in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nye IFK's Osvald Abelsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. Henric Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Blom in the 29th minute of the match. When Niklas Carlsson fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderslöv FK's protests and gave Niklas Carlsson a yellow card for diving instead. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Nye IFK's Åke Åkesson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ove Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Nye IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Wallin to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes, Åke Åkesson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nye IFK and the Anderslöv FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nye IFK's Åke Åkesson got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Eric Lindblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anderslöv FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Lindblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Eric Lindblom notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nye IFK's Henric Sundberg. Henric Sundberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anderslöv FK's goalkeeper Gustav Eskilsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Anderslöv FK got a freekick which was hit by Alf Billberg. Åke Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
