The supporters of Tving IFK booed when Lövånger IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Dalström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Bengtsson in the 15th minute of play forced Lövånger IFK's goalkeeper Ronny Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gunnar Nordlander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Nordlander in the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tving IFK defense, Philip Boklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charlie Beneth. The Tving IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charlie Beneth should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Karl-Åke Kilström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Backlund was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Gunnar Nordlander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marc Bengtsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc Bengtsson in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Backlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gunnar Nordlander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gunnar Nordlanders short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Ronny Backlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ronny Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Tving IFK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
