The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Josef Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Bengtsson in the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Tving IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Alkvist came free, but Charlie Beneth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Josef Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Dahlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Nordlander in the 19th minute. Marc Bengtsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josef Dahlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marc Bengtsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Josef Dahlberg made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gunnar Nordlander sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Malung's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Bengtsson came free, but Josef Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Jonsson charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Jonsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tving IFK booed when Malung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Dahlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Nordlander in the 25th minute. Gunnar Nordlander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gunnar Nordlander struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Josef Dahlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tving IFK. Malung's Josef Dahlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Malung from getting a goal against them. Marc Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Nordlander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Josef Dahlberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 45 minutes into the match, Malung's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Bengtsson came free, but Josef Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Nordlander got free with Josef Dahlberg in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Alkvist made a kick off. Charlie Beneth was a little too slow when Henry Alkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 59th minute, Gunnar Nordlander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tving IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Nordlander in the 63rd minute of play forced Malung's goalkeeper Josef Dahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Malung booed when Tving IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malung's Josef Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Nordlander in the 71st minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Tving IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the game, Mattias Jonsson landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Kenneth Brandt's late challenge caught a Malung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Brandt helped the player get up and apologised. Malung's Elliott Pettersson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tving IFK. Marc Bengtsson scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josef Dahlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josef Dahlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marc Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tving IFK fully deserved thier win.
