Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kent Petersson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Leonard Björkdahl made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lövånger IFK's Ronny Backlund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Malung's Henry Alkvist in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lövånger IFK's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Lövånger IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Björkdahl came free, but Ronny Backlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Njurenius hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Wiktor Björkdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Hafström got free with Josef Dahlberg in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Alkvist in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Backlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Dahlberg having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Malung got a freekick which was hit by Roland Bokelund. 29 minutes into the match, Henry Alkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Backlund. Lövånger IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Alkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Henry Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lövånger IFK's David Skoog got a free kick in the 37th minute. Henry Alkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Backlund having to interfere. When Malung's Henry Alkvist in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lövånger IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Ronny Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Björkdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lövånger IFK's Karl-Erik Njurenius got a free kick in the 45th minute. Leonard Björkdahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Backlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonard Björkdahl ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Alkvist was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Lövånger IFK defense, Henry Alkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronny Backlund. The Lövånger IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronny Backlund should have stopped the shot. Henry Alkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Backlund having to interfere. Josef Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Hafström in the 61st minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Dahlberg having to interfere. In the 66thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Hafström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malung's Josef Dahlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lövånger IFK's Kent Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Henry Alkvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ronny Backlund made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Leonard Björkdahl sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Lövånger IFK booed when Malung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Alkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Bengt-Arne Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lövånger IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Arne Hafström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Dahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Arne Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Dahlberg having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Bokelund during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Per-Arne Hellström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josef Dahlberg. Malung's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
