An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Fredriksson in the 3rd minute of play forced Diö's goalkeeper Jonas Almqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Äng FK's Gabriel Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th play minute Andreas Lennartsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Isac Olofsson. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Fredriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Almqvist was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Viktor Tillman charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Tillman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viktor Tillman hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Joseph Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Almqvist having to interfere. Jonas Almqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Lidman in the 24th minute of play. Jonas Almqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Äng FK's Joseph Lidman in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diö's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute Joseph Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Almqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Joseph Lidman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jonas Almqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conny Strandberg hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Andreas Lennartsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Olofsson having to interfere. Gabriel Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jonas Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Almqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Joseph Lidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonas Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilhelm Malmberg was the one to do the kick off. Jonas Almqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Fredriksson in the 54th minute. Gabriel Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jonas Almqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Äng FK. If Andreas Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Äng FK defense, Andreas Lennartsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Olofsson. The Äng FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Olofsson should have stopped the shot. Äng FK's Isac Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Lennartsson in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Malmberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Isac Olofsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diö's Jonas Almqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Diö from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Äng FK's Åke Engström got a free kick in the 74th minute. Vilhelm Malmberg struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Isac Olofsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diö. In the 88th minute, Andreas Lennartsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With an all-out effort, Äng FK's Jonas Almqvist threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joseph Lidman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Joseph Lidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diö's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
