The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Linus Barck managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Enstaberga's Stig-Ove Nässén fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute Elliott Vacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Barck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Stig-Ove Nässén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holy's Linus Barck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Linus Barck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Linus Barck made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Stig-Ove Nässén sent off a good shot on target. When Harald Bollström fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holy's protests and gave Harald Bollström a yellow card for diving instead. Stig-Ove Nässén's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Linus Barck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Peter Sjöman hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Stig-Ove Nässén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Holy got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Hök. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Nässén in the 82nd minute of play forced Holy's goalkeeper Linus Barck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Ove Nässén in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linus Barck prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
