With a couple of smart ball manuevers Villiam Nilsson in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inge Bammerman saved Kalles Kaviar from getting behind. Inge Bammerman came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Munka-Ljungby IFK's Bo Haglund. But to his dismay, Bo Haglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 25th match minute, Kalles Kaviar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Ahlén to maneuver through the defense. If Sune Lönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Haglund struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Inge Bammerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munka-Ljungby IFK. In the 38th minute Ove Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Rudqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villiam Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Bo Haglund could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Inge Bammerman however easily saved by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Villiam Nilsson to make the kick off. Sture Rudqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Östman in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Blomquist in the 55th minute of play forced Kalles Kaviar's goalkeeper Inge Bammerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villiam Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inge Bammerman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Munka-Ljungby IFK's Villiam Nilsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Kalles Kaviar's Ove Östman got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Munka-Ljungby IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sune Lönn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Villiam Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Bammerman was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Sune Lönn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Sture Rudqvist made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ove Östman took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Sture Rudqvist to make any attempt to save it. 80 minutes into the game, Aron Rönn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munka-Ljungby IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalles Kaviar the free kick. Sune Lönn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sture Rudqvist having to make a save. During the 90th minute of the match Aron Rönn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aron Rönn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 played minutes Munka-Ljungby IFK got a freekick which was hit by Aron Rönn. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Östman in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sture Rudqvist saved Munka-Ljungby IFK from getting behind. Kalles Kaviar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
