Kalles Kaviar's Inge Bammerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Flink in the 18th minute of play. Sune Lönn in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of John Bogren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Kalles Kaviar's zone, Robin Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inge Bammerman came out of the goal and Robin Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Christer Flink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sune Lönn struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. John Bogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalles Kaviar. If Robin Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Villands Vånga IK fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Villands Vånga IK's Robin Hermansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sune Lönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. John Bogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Inge Bammerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Flink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sune Lönn struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Karl-Magnus Björnsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Bogren. Villands Vånga IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Sune Lönn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. John Bogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Christer Flink came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Villands Vånga IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Flink couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kalles Kaviar getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Elliot Ahlén hit a great ball. Robin Hermansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Inge Bammerman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elliot Ahlén charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliot Ahlén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kalles Kaviar's Elliot Ahlén got a free kick in the 80th minute. Christer Flink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. One of Villands Vånga IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kalles Kaviar:s goal. Villands Vånga IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
