Tord Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Willig, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Varbergs Bois's goalkeeper Robin Söderman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malte Tillman. Ingvar Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tord Larsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Willig's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Varbergs Bois's zone, Knut Myr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Söderman came out of the goal and Knut Myr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Varbergs Bois's Robin Söderman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Myr in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albert Willig to make the kick off. If Albert Willig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knut Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Willig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Larsson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Willig got free with Tord Larsson in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Myr in the 65th minute of play forced Varbergs Bois's goalkeeper Robin Söderman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Löddeköpinge BK booed when Varbergs Bois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Mellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Willigs short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Tord Larsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albert Willig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Larsson having to interfere. Aron Mellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tord Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tord Larsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Willig in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Varbergs Bois's Aron Mellberg got a free kick in the 78th minute. Löddeköpinge BK's Malte Tillman got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
