In the 41st minute, Jens-Erik Björkman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Löddeköpinge BK booed when Höllviken FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Knut Myr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Isaksson was the one to do the kick off. Löddeköpinge BK's Tord Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Isaksson in the 54th minute of play. Malte Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Per-Olof Helberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Höllviken FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tord Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Isaksson in the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Melander during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan Dahlberg, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. There was no doubt that Höllviken FF were the better team. Höllviken FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
