Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Uno Bergström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Ljungaverk booed when Konga IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leif Billing charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leif Billing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Thomas Wennersten, was totally fooled by Ljungaverk's Casper Bållström, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Anton Klack's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredrik Hybbert was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Uno Bergström fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljungaverk's protests and gave Uno Bergström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungaverk's goalkeeper Fredrik Hybbert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calle Andersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Wennersten having to make a save. Bengt-Arne Svanér sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Törnqvist hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Konga IF's Bengt-Arne Svanér in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ljungaverk's Jonathan Törnqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungaverk's zone, Anton Klack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Hybbert came out of the goal and Anton Klack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Klack in the 35th minute of play forced Ljungaverk's goalkeeper Fredrik Hybbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Wennersten was a little too slow when Uno Bergström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. Bengt-Arne Svanér fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Hybbert having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Klack made a kick off. If Anton Klack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Bengt-Arne Svanér got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungaverk's zone, Anton Klack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Hybbert came out of the goal and Anton Klack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ljungaverk were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Konga IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Casper Bållström took the corner. Ingvar Bergqvist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Calle Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Wennersten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Andersson in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Svanér got free with Fredrik Hybbert in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erling Vedholm hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Konga IF's Leif Billing broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Anton Klack struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fredrik Hybbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konga IF. In the 94th minute Calle Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Wennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ljungaverk fans cheered their team off the field, for while Konga IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
