The supporters of Teckomatorp BK booed when Konga IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Bagge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Klack, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Teckomatorp BK's Jerry Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerry Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Thomas Wennersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konga IF's Thomas Wennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Sandberg in the 20th minute of play. If Edmund Lönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Klack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gilbert Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jerry Sandberg came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Teckomatorp BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Sandberg couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Konga IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Lindberg came free, but Thomas Wennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Thomas Wennersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvid Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Wennersten having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Konga IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Sjögren came free, but Thomas Wennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Lägdin kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Klack stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anton Klack recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt-Arne Svanér received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Svanér in the 67th minute of play forced Teckomatorp BK's goalkeeper Gilbert Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
