Oliver Smedfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Vedholm in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Valdemar Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gargnäs IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Fredrik Hybbert managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Gargnäs IF's Jens-Erik Björkdal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valdemar Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Ljungaverk's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Jonasson came free, but Fredrik Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Oliver Smedfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Jens-Erik Björkdal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fredrik Hybbert to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elliott Jonasson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Björkdal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ljungaverk's Fredrik Hybbert. Fredrik Hybbert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, Gargnäs IF's Jens-Erik Björkdal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Hybbert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jens-Erik Björkdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Hybbert having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ljungaverk defense, Elliott Jonasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredrik Hybbert. The Ljungaverk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredrik Hybbert should have stopped the shot. If Jens-Erik Björkdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Björkdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Hybbert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliott Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Ljungaverk's Jonathan Törnqvist got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Gargnäs IF's Oliver Smedfeldt got control of the ball when Jonathan Törnqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Elliott Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
