Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when William Lindholm made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Gävle booed when FC City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Ekenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Jonatan Back was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gävle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC City the free kick. The supporters of FC City booed when Gävle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Sven-Erik Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Ove Tomasson shot from long distance in the 21st minute, but Anders Olofsson was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 22nd minute Joseph Beckeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Joseph Beckeman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 27th match minute, FC City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Ekenberg to maneuver through the defense. Yngve Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rolf Vallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, William Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC City's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Lindholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Erik Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Vallander having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, William Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC City's supporters rose to their feet, but William Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Vallander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Erik Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joseph Beckeman to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven-Erik Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Gävle got a freekick which was hit by Kim Alegren. The goalkeeper, Rolf Vallander, was totally fooled by FC City's Henrik Andersson, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. William Lindholm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Rolf Vallander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Ekenberg during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 75 in the game by Yngve Överman from a close distance when the talented Rolf Vallander managed to make a qualified save. Gävle's players were relieved. William Lindholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Vallander having to interfere. Börge Högberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Gävle's goalkeeper Rolf Vallander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Lindholm. A collision led to Gävle getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Joseph Beckeman hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC City's Fredrik Ekenberg got a free kick in the 96th minute. Anders Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded FC City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gävle.
