Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ingemar Eklund took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kaj Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Strand having to interfere. If Ingemar Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Eklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Eklund during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BK Hiffen getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ingemar Eklund hit a great ball. When Peter Erserman came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Charlescrown Sailors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Erserman couldn't finish the play. Yngve Uter hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Ingemar Eklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charlescrown Sailors's Knut Ekegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes, Arne Almqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlescrown Sailors and the BK Hiffen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Knut Ekegren, was totally fooled by BK Hiffen's Sven-Ove Berg, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Peter Erserman made the kick off in the second half. Arne Almqvist hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Charlescrown Sailors got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Fransson. After 57th play minutes Ingemar Eklund shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Knut Ekegren and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Ingemar Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Hiffen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Charlescrown Sailors's zone, Ingemar Löfdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Ekegren came out of the goal and Ingemar Löfdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Aleberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Hiffen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlescrown Sailors the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, BK Hiffen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Aleberg to maneuver through the defense. Knut Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Eklund in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Ingemar Löfdahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingemar Eklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Knut Ekegren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Charlescrown Sailors's Albin Olenberg got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Charlescrown Sailors's Knut Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Eklund in the 85th minute of play. Ingemar Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kaj Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Olenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Charlescrown Sailors defense, Ingemar Löfdahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Knut Ekegren. The Charlescrown Sailors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Knut Ekegren should have stopped the shot.
