Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan-Erik Edström kicked off to start the match. In the 18th minute, Bo-Erik Rosendahl fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan-Erik Hjortsberg, passed just outside the right post. In the 23rd minute, Gustaf Melander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Edström in the 24th minute of play forced Norrköping's goalkeeper Melker Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Melander took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Erik Hjortsberg. Jan-Erik Hjortsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Sörberge BoIS booed when Norrköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Alfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes Norrköping's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rolf Gustafsson who took care of the corner kick. Sörberge BoIS's Rolf Gustafsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Melker Åkesson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jan-Erik Edström might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melker Åkesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Erik Edström ran back to his position shaking his head. If Henrik Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Hjortsberg having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd play minute Henrik Samuelsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Melker Åkesson. 1-2. In the 59th minute Jan-Erik Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Melker Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo-Erik Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Sörberge BoIS's Andreas Engström got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jan-Erik Hjortsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jan-Erik Edström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jan-Erik Hjortsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo-Erik Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sörberge BoIS defense, Gustaf Melander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Hjortsberg. The Sörberge BoIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Erik Hjortsberg should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes in the game, Henrik Samuelsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Melker Åkesson having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
