Fred Blixt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Holger Bergman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Ljusterö FF's Adrian Bratt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Algot Örtendahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven Wallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rune Melin was a little too slow when Fred Blixt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. 30 minutes into the game, one of Ljusterö FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Blixt got free with Rune Melin in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fred Blixts short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Rune Melin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kurt Brask's late challenge caught a Herckules Boyz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Brask helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ljusterö FF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kurt Brask hit a great ball. If Holger Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Holger Bergman was the one to do the kick off.
