Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Håkan Hermansson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With an all-out effort, Båtskärsnäs's Thomas Hellström threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Börje Kämpe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flower City's Thomas Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Kämpe in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Båtskärsnäs got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Kjellbom. In the 24th minute, Håkan Hermansson made a precise shot to the right of Per-Oskar Bammerman. Båtskärsnäs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Lennart Engman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Hermansson in the 34th minute of play forced Båtskärsnäs's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Bammerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Flower City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Engman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Christer Vase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Kämpe made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Håkan Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flower City's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Oskar Bammerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrik Kjellbom hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Båtskärsnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Hermansson came free, but Per-Oskar Bammerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börje Kämpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Oskar Bammerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Flower City's Håkan Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The nice shot from Christer Vase in the 77thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Per-Oskar Bammerman had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Båtskärsnäs's Per-Oskar Bammerman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Båtskärsnäs from getting a goal against them. If Börje Kämpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Flower City getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Walter Palmkvist hit a great ball. Båtskärsnäs's Sten Enegren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Flower City. Thomas Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Walter Palmkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Palmkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Flower City getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Walter Palmkvist hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Flower City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
