In the 6th minute, Knut Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustav Vennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Andersson in the 15th minute of play forced Löttorp's goalkeeper Isac Wahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isac Wahlström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Andersson's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Knut Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Wahlström having to interfere. Gustav Vennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Viktor Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Knut Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Wahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, one of Löttorp:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Löttorp's Isac Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Dahlberg in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Vennerberg came free, but Viktor Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Djurgården IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Åkerberg to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Pettersson struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Viktor Askelöf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löttorp. A collision led to Löttorp getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gottfrid Boström hit a great ball. The Djurgården IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Djurgården IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
