Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Säffle AIK's Max Fristedt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Nils Berg fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säffle AIK's protests and gave Nils Berg a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Säffle AIK got a freekick which was hit by Nils Berg. Harald Lundqvist's late challenge caught a Säffle AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Lundqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Offerdal getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Harald Lundqvist hit a great ball. Jonny Stenström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonard Wennerlund. Offerdal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nils Berg struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Max Fristedt sped through Offerdal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonard Wennerlund. David Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Östlund in the 22nd minute of play. Max Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Wennerlund having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Östlund made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Säffle AIK got a freekick which was hit by Olof Nässén. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Johansson in the 54th minute of play forced Säffle AIK's goalkeeper David Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Säffle AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Offerdal the free kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Säffle AIK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
