Per-Arne Falk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Ove Wennersten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Emil Hedlund ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Lysekil FK's zone, Christoffer Fogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernt Västerberg came out of the goal and Christoffer Fogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Jonatan Kråk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lysekil FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borgafjäll the free kick. Jonatan Kråk hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Christoffer Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lysekil FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jonatan Kråk hit a great ball. When Christoffer Fogel fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borgafjäll's protests and gave Christoffer Fogel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lysekil FK booed when Borgafjäll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Fogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bernt Västerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Ove Wennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Falk in the 48th minute of play.

Lysekil FK's Bernt Västerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Fogel in the 51st minute of play. Borgafjäll's Christoffer Fogel got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christoffer Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Västerberg having to interfere.
