After 3 minutes, William Holm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Korsberga IFK and the Ljungby FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Korsberga IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Holm to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Mats Samuelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigvard Forssell's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Sigvard Forssell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mats Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Korsberga IFK's Philip Wallgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rikard Tingelholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mats Samuelsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sigvard Forssell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Elias Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Rikard Tingelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Wallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ljungby FF's Sigvard Forssell got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Ljungby FF got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Forssell. In the 35th minute Jens-Erik Lundhberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikard Tingelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Forssell in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Philip Wallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikard Tingelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After 51 played minutes Korsberga IFK got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Giliusson. Rikard Tingelholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Lundhberg in the 54th minute of the match. Jens-Erik Lundhberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Korsberga IFK's Mats Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Forssell in the 65th minute of play. Rikard Tingelholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Lundhberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Ljungby FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Lundhberg came free, but Rikard Tingelholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Wallgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rikard Tingelholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Wallgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Rikard Tingelholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Lundhberg in the 78th minute of the match. Rikard Tingelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Lundhberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Elliott Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Samuelsson having to interfere.
