Gert Springfält kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ljungby FF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Kjellkvist came free, but Rikard Tingelholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Elliott Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forsa FF's Sven-Olof Kjellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Olof Kjellkvist to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Kjellkvist in the 54th minute of play forced Ljungby FF's goalkeeper Rikard Tingelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ljungby FF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Forsa FF to leave the ground with a draw.
