Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) FC Gigant's Rikard Drake started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Felix Groth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stavsjö FF and the FC Gigant players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stavsjö FF's Felix Groth got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Andreas Överman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Ahlin in the 7th minute of the match. When Karl-Johan Viklund fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gigant's protests and gave Karl-Johan Viklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Karl-Johan Viklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Rikard Drake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Gigant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stavsjö FF the free kick. A collision led to FC Gigant getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rikard Drake hit a great ball. Andreas Överman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Ahlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rikard Drake got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to FC Gigant getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Olle Granqvist hit a great ball. Karl-Erik Linquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andreas Överman. FC Gigant's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jan-Erik Ahlin charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Erik Ahlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan-Erik Ahlin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Leonardo Björkqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agne Lindholm in the 32nd minute. If Johannes Tingberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Överman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Jan-Erik Ahlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Sune Svensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stavsjö FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sune Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andreas Överman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Ahlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Överman was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The FC Gigant players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stavsjö FF were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Erik Ahlin to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agne Lindholm in the 55th minute of play forced Stavsjö FF's goalkeeper Leonardo Björkqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Överman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Erik Ahlin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. Stavsjö FF's Leonardo Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Granqvist in the 65th minute of play. When Stavsjö FF's Jan-Erik Ahlin in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gigant's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Erik Linquist's late challenge caught a FC Gigant's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Erik Linquist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for FC Gigant. Bo Beckman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonardo Björkqvist. 1-2. After some careless play in the FC Gigant defense, Sune Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Överman. The FC Gigant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Överman should have stopped the shot. Bengt Hult charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt Hult the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Bengt Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Löfskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Leonardo Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Lindholm in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes, Philip Ferm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gigant and the Stavsjö FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Stavsjö FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
