The supporters of Jämshög BK booed when Jämjö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Örtendahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mats Vennerkvist's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Mats Vennerkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Örtendahl having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Pettersson during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Jämshög BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Jämshög BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Vennerkvist came free, but Richard Örtendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jämshög BK's Richard Örtendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Björkkvist in the 18th minute of play. In the 27th minute Johannes Björkkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Örtendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jämjö FF's Martin Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Skarkman in the 29th minute of play. The Jämjö FF fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Jämjö FF's Johannes Björkkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Björkkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Johannes Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Örtendahl having to interfere. Mats Vennerkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Jämshög BK's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Björkkvist came free, but Richard Örtendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Johannes Björkkvist struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Richard Örtendahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jämjö FF. Mats Vennerkvist took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Örtendahl. Richard Örtendahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 68th minute, Jämjö FF's Johannes Björkkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richard Örtendahl. Richard Örtendahl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 71st minute, Per-Olof Åkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Mats Vennerkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Örtendahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Johannes Björkkvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Johannes Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Per-Olof Åkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Skarkman in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Jämshög BK's goalkeeper Richard Örtendahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Vennerkvist. John Lindström's late challenge caught a Jämjö FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Lindström helped the player get up and apologised. 92 minutes into the match, Vilhelm Skarkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Gustafsson. Jämjö FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vilhelm Skarkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 95 minutes, Gunnar Blomberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jämjö FF and the Jämshög BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jämshög BK booed when Jämjö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Jämshög BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jämjö FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
